Match my CV to an offer

CV keyword matching, bold proof and an honest job-fit score

A recruiter spends seconds on the first pass of a CV, and many companies run applications through an applicant tracking system (ATS) before a person reads them. Both look for the same thing: evidence that you have what this particular offer asks for. RezuYes reads the job offer, maps every requirement to something you have really done and rewrites your CV so that evidence is easy to find – without adding a single skill you don’t have.

How the keyword matching works

You paste the job offer next to your old CV, your LinkedIn profile or a few notes from the short form. Before writing anything, the AI goes through the offer requirement by requirement – hard skills, tools, certificates, language levels, domain, scope of responsibility – and looks for proof of each one anywhere in your materials: a job, an internship, a thesis, a side project, volunteering.

Where you genuinely meet a requirement, the CV uses the offer’s own wording for it. If the offer says “stakeholder management” and your old CV says “kept the client side informed”, the bullet is rewritten around the term the recruiter and the ATS are scanning for, and the exact keyword also lands in your skills list. Where you don’t meet a requirement, the keyword stays out of the CV. Matching is about making true things findable, not about stuffing the page.

The strongest proof, set in bold

In every bullet the AI picks the one phrase that proves a key requirement of the offer and sets it in bold – the technology, method, domain or scope the offer asks for, sometimes with its result. It is never a bare number and never the same fact twice. The summary gets at most one bold phrase.

The order matters too: must-haves first. If the offer insists on a certificate, a language level or team leadership, the proof of those is bolded before anything nice-to-have. A recruiter skimming only the bold text should still see why you fit.

  • Hands-on roles: hands-on work comes first, leadership becomes a supporting line.
  • Leadership roles: team size, budget and decisions move to the top.
  • Bullets inside each role are reordered by relevance to this offer; weak or duplicate ones are dropped rather than padded.

An honest job-fit score from 0 to 100

Next to the CV you get a job-fit score: the AI’s honest estimate of how well your real experience fits the offer’s requirements. It is not a promise about the ATS or the recruiter, and it is not inflated to make you feel good. A 55 for a role that asks for five years of something you have done for two is useful information – it tells you to apply with a strong interview story, or to look for a better-matched offer.

If something important is missing from what you gave us – a requirement you may actually meet but didn’t mention, a gap, a number you probably know – you get a short, specific tip in the app. Tips are shown to you only; they are never printed on the CV.

Only true facts – that is the rule, not a setting

The AI works only with the facts you provide. It does not add employers, dates, degrees or figures, it does not upgrade “supported” into “led”, and it keeps qualifiers such as “in a team of 5” or “basic”. Years of experience are counted only from when the relevant skill actually starts in your history and are rounded down.

That is also why matching beats generic CV templates: a recruiter who calls you for an interview will ask about the bold lines. Every one of them has to be something you can talk about for five minutes.

One CV per offer, in a few minutes

Applying to three companies? Paste each offer and get a separate CV for each. The “5 attempts” package is meant for exactly that. FAQ

Will the AI add keywords for skills I don’t have?

No. Keywords from the offer are used only where your materials show you genuinely have that skill. Missing requirements are mentioned to you as a tip, not written into the CV.

What does the job-fit score mean?

It is an honest 0–100 estimate of how well your real experience fits the offer’s requirements. It helps you decide where to apply and what to prepare for; it is not a guarantee of an interview.

Why are some phrases in bold?

Each bullet bolds the one phrase that proves a key requirement of the offer, so a recruiter who only skims the bold text still sees why you fit. The same fact is never bolded twice.

Can I use it without a job offer?

Yes. Without an offer the CV is still rewritten into achievement-led bullets and the bold marks your key results, but there is no job-fit score and no interview questions.
